The prosecution in this case is honestly starting to piss me off. It's like she's just there for the sake of having an asshole character, and she probably doesn't even care for what happens unless Aurelia somehow gets in trouble.

I absolutely love how Mariko called out Victoria on the parasol. With the way Victoria treated the recently deceased, she had at least that much coming. It's great that we've gotten such a big breakthrough in the case. I might be overthinking it, but I did find it strange that the victim closed the door. If someone enters an occupied room with a weapon in hand and closes the door behind them, that suggests to me an intent to do harm. That wasn't the angle Aurelia took, but I'm glad we're casting suspicion on the victim now. Maybe we can figure out what her daughter is up to next.

Well, that was certaintly something. I'm still not convinced about Mariko's being an adult. Despite Susan being sketchy and probably taking the cleaning bottle, I don't think she is actually behind any of the murder. The mastermind is clearly pulling something super elaborate. Or the lighthouse is sentient and the actual culprit ! 👻

So did Hellinger use her Nintendo Switch to scan Lillian's hands for gunpowder residue? I mean, if it can check how many people tutched something and in what order than it can surely check if someone firred a gun or not? I fact, why haven't Aurelia's hands been tested for gunpowder residue using that device? I mean, she's the main suspect and not only would it be prudent to scan her but to also scan everyone else in the building as the plaintiff wont then have to worry about the defendent acusing someone else of being the killer if that person happens to not have an alibi.

Some of Tama's recollections about her childhood make me wonder if they're based on memories from real people (in-universe) whose data was used to train her. I forgot about Mamoru's wink psync. That was definitely on the sad side, and I'm glad Ryuki didn't press him on it. The weird stuff can definitely be off-putting at first, even though it all makes sense in the end. There's certain things that I *really* want to comment on but can't without spoiling the game's biggest reveal.

I think being thrown off is understandable, this game has really weird vibes compared to the first game. I like those kinda weird surreal vibes, but it's jarring when you kinda came up expect a certain thing in AITSF and then AINI kinda just adds to the weirdness.

Ooh, ghost stories. I kind of expected this to be like the classic campfire stories, so it was surprising that Anne was experiencing this story in real time (unless it turns out that someone really is telling these stories at a campfire or something). It's definitely interesting, though. Meeting a ghost from the distant past and some time travel elements, too? Not to mention the emphasis on humans being the scariest things. I'm guessing the other stories will share that last point as well.

Lillian continues to be an amazing pov character. I'm hoping by the end of this she does manage to break through to Aurelia and we can have both of them pulling this kind of thing on everyone. I mean, who actually signs up for relationship advice from a detective of all people? That bit about how a mistrial is likely makes me really wonder how this will end. If Aurelia manages to prove herself innocent, will she just have to do it all over again in a real court? Even if she does, she at least has an alibi for one murder, though I do wonder if Victoria will try to pin that on her as well.

Well, that part about getting down to the first floor was pretty ominous. To the point where I expected all four of them to never come back. So the biggest surprise for me is there was only one victim. And I wonder if the narrator talking in purple with the rotating card is the killer.

24:30 I think this past incident (BU-2) is Blackrune's "Burial of a Turnabout". I don't think it's in a pristine condition (especially in the music/sfx department). It starts on a case named "~Prologue~" though, "Burial of a Turnabout" seems to be the 2nd part of it.

Out of all the fan games you've played what's your favorite?

This somnium is one of the hardest ones for the time limit largely because of the water physics. Also, because of the amount of time I had to spend on this one and its abstract nature, it made me do a LOT of theorizing (none of which turned out to be true, if I remember correctly lol)

Tokiko's somnium is one of the more memorable ones (maybe 2nd or 3rd?) for multiple reasons. I'm surprised you didn't discover the currents by accident; that's what happened to me. If I'm not mistaken, the location of one particular hidden eyeball makes me wonder if it's possible to get it on the first run. I did completely forget about the other characters who appeared in this somnium. Now we have a few leads to go on. I honestly don't remember where exactly they take us.

I remember this Somnium was the one that gave me the most trouble in the game, you aren't alone lol

Well, this is probably the most charming take on a ritualistic sacrifice I'll ever see in my lifetime. It does seem like it's saying something about religions in real life and how dangerous it can be when people abuse them. I don't imagine anything quite like this happening in real life, but the point is well-made. Hopefully Agneau (or whatever her real name is) can keep pulling off the little trick in the Black Sheep ending every year.

I can kind of relate to Lillian in terms of not knowing when to say certain things and when to keep quiet. That section really helped make it clear what it's like for her when she knows someone's lying but can't prove it. When she's in a good mood, she certainly makes for a fun protagonist, especially in terms of presenting things. And yes, Aurelia has certainly changed a lot. I absolutely want to learn more about how that happened.

Tokiko's belief about running water fits a lot more considering her somnium; I remember that one pretty well. Her beliefs about others things, though . . . well, I mostly understand the scientific part of it, but I don't quite see how any of it is supposed to prove that the world is a simulation. I want to say Tokiko is actually one of the biggest examples of how this game goes more from crazy to grounded, but I might be remembering wrong. Either way, the human suction cup thing is disturbing, yes.

The Tokiko conversation after Chikara's body discovery feels like Uchikochi using Tokiko as a puppit to tell the player all the neet info he learned about during the making of the game.
